Why Work With Us?

Look, there are lots of law firms out there. Here's why clients stick with us.

We Actually Return Calls

Sounds basic, right? But you'd be surprised. We respond to clients same-day, usually within a few hours. Your question isn't gonna sit in our inbox for days.

No Legal Jargon Unless Necessary

We explain things in plain English. If we use a fancy legal term, we'll tell you what it actually means. You're hiring us for our expertise, not to feel confused.

Transparent Pricing

We tell you upfront what things will cost - no surprise bills. For ongoing work, we offer flat fees or capped arrangements whenever possible.

Business-First Mindset

We're not here to create work for ourselves. Sometimes the best legal advice is "don't do that" or "here's a simpler way." We care about your bottom line.

We've Been There

Our team has handled hundreds of cases across different industries. Whatever you're dealing with, chances are we've seen something similar and know what works.

Common Questions

Stuff people usually ask us before we start working together.

Honestly, it depends on what you need. We charge hourly for litigation and complex work, but for stuff like contract drafting or corporate setup, we often do flat fees. We'll give you a clear estimate upfront and stick to it. No billing surprises. Initial consultation is free for the first 30 minutes.

Nope, not unless you want to. We do most meetings over video call or phone. It's faster and more convenient for everyone. If you prefer meeting in person though, we're downtown Toronto and happy to see you here.

Usually right away. Once we agree to work together and get the retainer sorted out, we can start same day or next day in most cases. If it's an emergency situation, let us know and we'll prioritize it.

No problem. We work with clients all over Ontario and sometimes beyond. As long as the legal matter is in our jurisdiction, we can help. Everything can be done remotely these days anyway.

We're not trying to impress you with fancy offices or throw around legal jargon to seem smart. We focus on actually solving your problems efficiently and keeping you in the loop. Our clients appreciate that we're responsive, straightforward, and charge fairly. Plus we've got real experience - our team's been around long enough to know what they're doing.

Yeah, for sure. Give us a call and we'll see if we can answer it right there or point you in the right direction. If it's gonna take more time, we'll let you know and can set up a proper consultation. Either way, we're not gonna waste your time or ours.
