Who We Really Are

Sarah's the one who started this whole thing. After spending seven years at a big corporate firm, she got tired of the stuffy culture and decided to build something better. She's handled over 200 M&A deals and still gets excited about helping businesses grow. Outside the office, she's probably hiking somewhere in Algonquin Park.

Marcus joined us in 2015 and brought his litigation chops from Bay Street. He's the guy you want when things go sideways - calm under pressure, strategic thinker, and honestly pretty funny for a litigator. He's won cases that other lawyers said were unwinnable. When he's not in court, he's coaching his kid's soccer team.

Priya came on board in 2018 to lead our IP practice. She's got a background in software engineering, which makes her incredibly valuable for tech clients who need someone who actually gets what they're building. She's passionate about protecting innovators and has helped dozens of startups secure their IP. She's also a foodie who knows every good restaurant in Toronto.

David specializes in employment law and HR compliance. Before law, he actually worked in HR for five years, so he understands both sides of the table. He helps businesses stay compliant without creating toxic workplaces. His advice is practical, not theoretical. Outside work, he's a marathon runner who's always trying to convince everyone to join him for 5am runs.

Jennifer's our contract wizard. She's reviewed and drafted thousands of contracts and has an eye for spotting problematic clauses that others miss. Clients love working with her because she explains everything clearly and doesn't make them feel dumb for asking questions. She joined us fresh out of law school in 2019 and has already made partner - that's how good she is.

Ahmed's one of our rising stars. He joined the team in 2022 and has already shown he's got what it takes. He works on commercial disputes and brings a fresh perspective to complex problems. He's also leading our pro bono initiative, working with small businesses and startups who need legal help but can't afford big firm rates. A genuine good guy who's going places.
