Who We Really Are
We're not your typical buttoned-up law firm. Yeah, we wear suits sometimes, but we'd rather roll up our sleeves and get into the trenches with you.
How We Got Started
Back in 2014, a few of us were sitting in a corporate law firm thinking - there's gotta be a better way to do this. Clients were frustrated with the stuffy atmosphere, the legal jargon that nobody actually speaks, and bills that seemed to come outta nowhere.
So we decided to start something different. Resonant Forge Legal was born from the idea that you can be both professional AND approachable. That you can fight hard for clients without being a jerk about it. That legal advice should make sense to the people receiving it.
Twelve years later, we're still holding onto those principles. Sure, we've grown and learned a ton, but the core mission hasn't changed - forge strong legal solutions that actually resonate with real people running real businesses.
What Drives Us
Straight Talk
We'll never bury you in legalese or pretend something's complicated when it's not. You deserve answers you can understand without needing a law degree.
Your Corner
When things get messy - and in business, they sometimes do - we're the ones who'll stand beside you. Not behind a desk, but right there in the fight with you.
Creative Solutions
Cookie-cutter approaches don't cut it. Every business is unique, and your legal strategy should reflect that. We like thinking outside the box.

Giving Back
Success isn't just about billing hours and winning cases. We believe in supporting our community and helping those who can't afford legal representation.
Pro Bono Clinic
Every month, we run free legal clinics for small businesses and startups. We've helped over 200 entrepreneurs with contract reviews, incorporation advice, and general legal questions. It's some of the most rewarding work we do.
Our team commits at least 50 hours per month to pro bono work. We focus on businesses that are just getting started and need guidance but can't swing the typical lawyer fees yet.
Community Partnerships
We partner with local business incubators, accelerators, and community organizations. We've worked with MaRS Discovery District, DMZ, and several Toronto business improvement areas.
We also sponsor and mentor at startup competitions, offer workshops on legal basics for entrepreneurs, and support organizations that promote diversity in business and law.
